Meetings

The Loftus P&C Association usually meets at 7pm in the school staffroom on the Tuesday of Week 2 and Week 7 of each term. All are welcome to attend.  You do not have to become a member but membership is encouraged so you can have a vote on items tabled at these meetings.

Special meetings may also be called to discuss particular issues.  At least two weeks’ notice is given if a special meeting is to be held.

Can I just turn up at a meeting?

Yes, you are welcome to come to any meeting without notice, just turn up at the staffroom on the designated night. We encourage you to become members so that you can have a vote on items tabled at these meetings. (You can only vote at the meeting following becoming a member).

How can I contribute to the school or P&C if I can’t come to meetings?

Even if you can’t make it to the P&C Meetings, there are many ways to help throughout the school year.  There is normally a school note about each of the various events, and these include a call for volunteers where required.
